Following the devastating Typhoon in the Philippines we have decided to help by being involved in a big fundraising dinner....
19 November 2013 - 00:00
The dinner will take place on Thursday 28th November at the beautiful Romsey Abbey. It will be the first dinner of its kind to take place in the Abbey so should prove to be a spectacular evening.
A four-course sit-down dinner will follow by Head Chefs Luke Holder, from Hartnett Holder & Co at Lime Wood, James Golding, from the award winning The Pig in the New Forest, Luke Matthews from Chewton Glen and Chris Rock from The White Horse Hotel. Fine wines will accompany each course .
Guests will be welcomed into our Champagne Taittinger reception by our host, TV Presenter and Hampshire resident, TIff Needell.
So far, so good, in just 4 days we have sold 70 tickets and pulled all the above together without spending a penny!! We are aiming to raise £35k+ and attract 150-200 guests.
100% of proceeds will be donated to the Action Against Hunger Philippines Emergency Appeal. The event management, staff, chefs, restaurants, food and drink suppliers, entertainment and all other elements of the evening have been entirely donated.
To pull this off in the time frame we need all the help possible Would you possibly consider hosting a table at the dinner? Tickets: £85 per person. Table 10: £800 Table 12: £950.
