So you are recently engaged? The excitement has settled down and now you are left with the exciting task of planning your special day.

Believe it or not Romsey (although very small) has almost everything you need to plan Your Romsey Wedding!

Don’t know where to start? Well let us help you…

So lets start with The Celebration of your marriage, Romsey has some stunning places to tie the knot. The Abbey stands tall in the centre of Romsey and is certainly a grand and sophisticated venue. Tim the Reverend will be happy to chat to you about your plans however big or small your ceremony.

The Town Hall is also located in the centre of Romsey with rooms of varying size dependant on your family size.

The Tack & Forge suite at The White Horse Hotel is licensed for ceremonies up to 40 guests, offering a neutral, elegant backdrop and opportunity to keep your entire day under one roof!

There are also some beautiful churches surrounding Romsey that are not to be overlooked.

The Venue – so in our eyes the most important part of the wedding day! Choosing the right venue is high in priority for most Bride and Grooms to be and of course we are biased. The White Horse Hotel & Brasserie is located in the centre of Romsey and provides the perfect setting for your special day. Surrounded by beautiful gardens such as King Johns House and The Memorial Park the ideal backdrop for some unique wedding shots and a chance for you as newly wed’s to escape for five minutes ‘you time’. The Beautiful Stables and Tack & Forge offer a classy, unique and sophisticated room for your reception. The food served throughout your day is freshly prepared by Chef Nick O’Hallaran and his team to a 2 AA Rosette standard. We have 31 guest rooms, Nijinsky the Penthouse suite is yours for your wedding night and 30 other rooms for your guests to stay in to carry on the party at breakfast the following morning! Our Wedding packages include the DJ, the Stationary for the tables, cake knife & chair sashes some of the fiddly bits – taking the hassle away from you! What more do you need?

The Florist – Romsey’s Pomp & Petals is based in Awbridge just five minutes from the centre of Romsey. Kay’s works as your personal florist with dedication and no other commitments creating stunning flowers just for you.

The Dress – Romsey Bridal Boutique and Groom’s Room has recently opened in Romsey offering the top dress ranges from Ian Stuart to Maggie Sottero even the shoes, head pieces and much more! The Grooms room provides the hire of smart, well fitted grooms suit, and accessories for the groom and his party of groomsmen. A one stop shop for all the Bridal Parties attire!

The Photographer – Roderick Alan a local chap, Romsey born & bred – a fantastic photographer offering photography that’s different and with inside knowledge of the best spots in Romsey to create the truly perfect wedding shots. Who better to have to capture those special memories!

The Cake – often a big talking point in the day itself, it has to wow by looks but more importantly taste! Daisy Cake company located on Bell Street in the centre of Romsey come highly recommended. They pride themselves on design, baking, decorating and presention. The very best quality artisan cakes.

Gifts – So one of the categories in the planning that often gets left until last minute or even forgotton! The Gifts for the bridal party, a thank you to your parents, Best man, Bridesmaids and generally anyone else that has helped pull your special day together! Bradbeers the quaint department store in The Cornmarket offers plenty of options from Glassware, Jewellery, Beauty or even as simple as a pair of matching socks for the Groom & Best man!
